    Responsibilities

    Here’s what it’s all about:

    • You will be the quality point person on product development and/or product evolution programs for the design and delivery of "failure is not an option" products to demanding commercial and government customers.
    • You will work closely with Product Development Managers and other cross functional team members such as Design Engineering, Supply Chain/Purchasing, Industrialization/ Manufacturing Engineering, etc., to ensure quality and safety is built into our products before commercial launch.
    • You will ensure that lessons learnt from field experience are incorporated in the new designs and drive the continual improvement of product quality.
    • You will investigate and coordinate the resolution of customer issues, and work on or lead cross functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives to reduce the cost of quality and increase customer satisfaction.
    • You will work closely with our manufacturing operations (local and overseas) to assure quality performance.

    Qualifications

    If you’re passionate about getting the details right, supporting a fast-paced team, fostering long-term relationships and can roll up your sleeves to accomplish the above, you've got what it takes! Realistically you will have a technical degree with at least 5 years of experience in quality, operations, manufacturing. ASQ CQE certification, or strong willingness to achieve it, as it is highly desirable. You will also have the ability to travel overseas a few times a year, sometimes for a couple of weeks at a time – having some experience working with outsourcers in Asia would be an asset. Ideally, the perfect candidate for this role would have a good understanding of materials, garment production & construction methods, machinery and processes.. And don't worry, we'll make sure to help you learn everything you need to know about what makes us unique!
